Shazans is managed by a Memon family in Preston, the company is named after their youngest son Shazan. The recipe of success began in 2000 as a challenge by Shamim Ayyub who claimed she could make the best tasting samosa's available in the market. Shamim's business started from her kitchen where she wrapped her samosa's with clingfilm in a polystyrene tray and sold them to local shops. She was obviously right; which is why from starting in a home kitchen Shazans has now become the leading name in Halal Frozen Foods.
