Spicy Chicken Wings

This Ramadan Shazans and AHDB have teamed up with British Muslim TV to take you on an exciting food adventure. Coming along for the journey is Mr Tee and other special guests from the halal industry to deliver 30 different iftar meals that you can try at home. With a whole host of cooks including Chef Greg, you will see Lamb, Chicken and Beef from the British Isles used in amazing dishes from around the world with a British twist.

Join us this Ramadan for non-stop cooking and a food adventure like no other!

Ingredients

  • 900g of Shazans Chicken wings
  • 50g of spice mix of choice eg: piri piri, fajita, BBQ, Buffalo

Method

  • Cut the wings into single joint pieces this makes it easier for easy eating
  • Place wings into a decent size food bag
  • Sprinkle the spice mix of your choice over the wings
  • Inflate slightly with air and tumble them for a few seconds are until the spice mix has coated all the wings and there is no excess powder left.
  • Place in the fridge and marinate for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Place on a baking sheet and cook in a pre-heated oven 170°C Fan 190°C non fan Gas 5
  • Turn occasionally and cook for 45minutes
  • Serve with a blue cheese dip, Rajita or a sauce of your choice
