Sweet Chilli Kebabs With Singapore Noodles

This Ramadan AHDB & Shazans have been tasked to provide Iftar meals for the presenters at British Muslim TV, they have enlisted the help of Mr Tee and halal hangouts and their head chef Gregg to deliver 30 different recipes that you can try at home.

The recipes cover all ranges of occasions from hosting a meal for friends and family to quick recipes for those last minute Iftars. Using Lamb, Chicken and Beef from the British isles, prepared by Chef Gregg giving all recipes a British twist.

We will be preparing amazing dishes from around the world to ignite your creativity, tantalise your taste buds and get you cooking this ramadan. Whats more is we will be serving these up to the team at BMTV to keep them powered up well into the night.

400g Diced Shazans Breast meat
200ml of sweet chilli sauce
250g rice Singapore noodles
2tble spns vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves , crushed
2cm piece ginger , grated
1 onion , cut into thin half moons
1 red pepper , sliced
1/2 bunch fresh chives , chopped
1 red chilli , sliced
1 lime , quartered


  1. Mix in a bowel the chicken and 150ml of the sweet chilli sauce and leave to marinade for 2 hours minimum.
  2. Thread onto skewers and place on a baking sheet and cook in a hot oven 170°c Fan and for 18-20mins turning halfway through
  3. Add a little oil to the wok and fry the garlic and ginger until light brown. Add the onion and pepper and cook until just beginning to soften, then add the chilli and cook for a minute. Add the, noodles and about 2 tbsp water along with the chive and toss everything together.
  4. Remove baking sheet with skewers on and leave on a heat resistant top
  5. Place the noodles on a warmed serving plate place skewers on plate and decorate with lime quarters and pour over the remaining sauce.
